THE STURM CENTER
The Sturm Center, a teaching clinic that is part of the Sturm Specialty in Military Psychology, solely focuses on behavioral health treatment for Servicemembers, Veterans, and their families. Active duty service members and Veterans are often plagued by above-average rates of physical health conditions, substance abuse, homelessness, psychological disorders, suicide, and impaired vocational functioning given the work requirements of military service. Fight Oar Die believes that this population deserves care from providers who have expertise and a nuanced understanding of their unique problems. The Sturm Center employs experienced psychologists with specific expertise in military and Veteran psychology to oversee the clinical services provided to all patients.
THE MARCUS INSTITUTE FOR BRAIN HEALTH
The Marcus Institute for Brain Health (MIBH) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a clinical/integrated care and research institute for persistent symptoms relating to mild to moderate Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and associated Psychological Health (PH) conditions such as post-traumatic stress, depression, and anxiety. At the MIBH, we strive to advance training, educational and research activities in support of our clinical care model.
